Looking to watch the pros play, or maybe try you arm against the best in the state? Well, you are in luck disc golf enthusiast because the 15th Annual Texas States Disc Golf Championships is coming to Tom Bass Park on the last weekend of March, the 27th and 28th. The event is a PDGC sanctioned A-Tier event which annually draws the best players in the state for a weekend of highly competitive disc golf.

Tom Bass Park, located just north of Pearland at the corner of Beltway 8 and 288, is one of two parks in the area with two eighteen hole disc golf courses (the second is Jack Brooks park in Hitchcock, TX). Disc Golfers have been enjoying the parks since 1993 when the Powell course went in. In 1997 the ambitious Wilmont course went in, one of the longest courses in the area. Since then Tom Bass Park has often been the host to Texas's biggest disc golf competition.
