Workdays at Jack Brooks Park for the
2nd 18 basket course expansion when scheduled start
Saturday morning about 9-10am. Meet at the south pavillion.

workday
is being supervised by

HFDS had the first of 4 scheduled workdays for Jim Mozola Memorial Disc
Golf Course expansion on January 26, 2008 @ 1pm at the Glenwood
Tributary,
The
Cemetery
Land", adjacent to the Jim Mozola Memorial course to do litter removal.
31 big trash bags were filled up. Also maintenance of the original
course
was done.
Basket
#6 and #9 were raised, repaired teeboxes #5, #9, Teebox #8 was moved,
drainage ditch for #4 was dug, and
basket #6 was worked on. Jack Camp "The
Wheelman" wheeled the
whole
course.
HFDS
has
adopted the Glenwood Tributary
under the Buffalo Bayou Partnership's Adopt-A-Spot Program. The Buffalo
Bayou Partnership
will provide tools, plants,
trees,
refreshments and snacks for the workdays. Check the HFDS message board
periodically for the next scheduled workday or contact

Birdshot
will be having a workday at Jim Mozola on Sunday, July 6th to get
acquainted with the temporary basket locations and to evaluate the
original course.
